JMSDF Ship Open Day in Kobe Port

12th Kobe-Ichi – Local Taste & Culture Fair at Daimaru Kobe

The 12th edition of Kobe-Ichi, a fair bringing together the flavors, goods, and culture of Kobe and Hyogo. This time's theme is 'apple,' featuring an array of carefully crafted breads and sweets from local producers. Enjoy live cooking demonstrations, workshops, and everything from food to lifestyle goods.

Taisanji Forest Marché

Taisanji Inner Sanctuary (Oku-no-in)

Taisanji Temple is home to the city's only National Treasure building. Come enjoy forest play beneath the broadleaf evergreen forest — a prefectural natural monument and the largest of its kind in the prefecture. Activities include tree climbing, woodworking workshops, chopstick making, guided forest walks, log staircase building, local vegetable sales, and spice curry.

Kobe Dog Weekend powered by Inumatsuri

Kobe Sanda Premium Outlets

A dog festival held for the first time at Kobe Sanda Premium Outlets, themed around 'a comfortable weekend with your dog.' Around 50 booths selling dog apparel, treats, and accessories gather for the Dog Marche. The event also features free grooming by students from a local animal care school, a pet disaster preparedness seminar drawing on firsthand experience from the Great Hanshin Earthquake, and a raffle with pet goods as prizes.

Nanohana Festival & Marché at Kobe General Athletic Park

Kobe General Athletic Park, Cosmos Hill

The annual spring event at Cosmos Hill in Kobe General Athletic Park, where rapeseed flowers (nanohana) paint the hillside yellow. The Nanohana Festival, organized by local citizen volunteers, features free herbal tea service, a nanohana stamp rally, play corners for kids, and a live music stage. The simultaneously held Nanohana Marché brings together food trucks serving brunch, lunch, desserts, and drinks — the perfect spring day out.

St. Patrick's Day in KOBE 2026

Meriken Park

Kobe's annual outdoor celebration of St. Patrick's Day, Ireland's national festival. The event features a parade through Meriken Park, live Irish music and sessions, Irish dance performances with audience participation, and stalls from an Irish pub and whiskey bar. Guest musician Ciara Ní Bhriain, who performed at the Ireland Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka, will take the stage. All performances are free to watch.

Kobe Port Weekend Fireworks – Mar 21, 2026 (Sat) | Spring Night Sky Show

Meriken Park

A small weekend fireworks event lighting up Kobe's night sky. Fireworks bloom for about five minutes over the sea near Meriken Park and other waterfront spots, accompanied by music. Enjoy the harbor lights blending with fireworks in the pleasant sea breeze. Nearby cafes and restaurants offer drinks and takeout menus to enjoy while watching the show.

Rokko Island Island Center Event Plaza

⚠️ Postponed from March 18 to Sunday, March 22 due to rain forecast. A monthly street party held on Rokko Island. Popular food and drink vendors from around Kobe's east area gather at the Island Center plaza, offering craft beer, gourmet bites, and a relaxed open-air atmosphere for adults and kids alike. Look out for the spacey projection mapping on the UFO installation.
